For the first time, Veracruz is participating in SIAL Paris, which will take place from 15th to 19th October 2022 in the Villepinte Exhibition Centre. With regard to foreign markets, one of the company’s objectives is to start exporting almonds to France in 2023.
Simultaneously, Veracruz is going to continue investing in increasing the volume of its exports to Europe, especially to the British, Italian and German markets.
With a current investment amounting to 50 million euros, the Group has defined the goal of reaching a level of exports of around 80% by 2025.
The almond producer will be present at this important showcase in partnership with PortugalFoods. Andreia Barbosa, the Group’s commercial director, believes that participating in SIAL, which attracts exhibitors and visitors from over 200 countries, “will be a fantastic opportunity for Veracruz to make new trade agreements, better showcase its brand, keep up with the sector’s global trends and, in a nutshell, take the best almonds to the whole world.”
